A Fabulous Drink at Contigo

Contigo is my new favorite place!  I have been there twice this week and brought two separate friends on each occasion.  The darling Ben Edgerton modeled the concept after his family's ranch in South Texas named Contigo Ranch, where he grew up working, hunting and relaxing with good friends and family.  They say they couldn't have everyone down to the ranch, so they brought the ranch to us!  Contigo looks and feels good!  Chef Andrew Wiseheart is cooking up what they call "fresh, quality, bar food."  When L and I visited we indulged in the white bean dip laced with duck fat, yum!  Oh yes, and the drinks  – simple and well thought out with a focus on tequila and whiskey (and I spied the ever fabulous Z Tequila on the shelf).  I enjoyed the El Pepino made with tequila, cucumber water, mint and lime, perfect for these warm days and balmy nights.  Thank you Ben and Chef Andrew, Contigo is truly fabulous!
